It appears that Chase Wassson has asked for permission to transfer from his head coach. He will be a Senior next season. I wonder where he is headed? Down a division or up to D-1? I bet he has talked to North Texas and seeks a chance to reunite with Coach Dodge.

Why not? Even if he doesn't win the starting job, having a QB on the roster that KNOWS TD's system can only be an asset.

Makes you wonder, why would a kid transfer before his Sr year ? Isn't TSU his second school ? Don't know what type of Off. they will run at Texas State , but the new coach is a holdover from the old staff. This would lead me to think they would continue to run the same off.

I'd take him in a heartbeat. If last season taught us anything it's that you can never guarantee that the QB you need is on the roster. I know, I know, Vizza is the second coming...but what if he's not? I don't think having another QB can ever be a bad thing.

Right now, I'm for taking all the players we can get and letting Dodge sort them out based on his judgement. Let the position competitions begin!
