Four Non-Power Conference Teams Got At-Large Bids
Speaking of OOC scheduling, does anyone have any insight into the scheduling philosophy of coach Robinson? Doesn't the head coach provide a model (buy games, home-home series, tournament participation, mid-major, local rivals, high-major, power, etc.) to the AD for execution? We need a better OOC schedule to realistically enter the at-large conversation (and do well in the OOC of course). -

NIL Money
30-40% in agent fees, probably some legal fees in there somewhere too and a 37% marginal tax bracket for them if they pull down over $626,350 as a single filer. Maybe some state and local income taxes too. Yeah, it really sounds like this whole NIL thing was to make sure "students" got paid for signing jerseys.- 1

Softball at FAU
The other thing I might add.....when it comes to tourney time.....our gals now ought to know they can beat anybody. I hope and pray....we finish strong....and go into the tourney with momentum. The tourney is in Tampa......IIRC. Go Mean Green! p.s. Thank God, the tourney's not in Boca, and I don't have to endure "The FAU Sound Machine." -

Softball at FAU
Savage didn't throw poorly. Her defense let her down. The bad hop/error on Simon snowballed. Big picture, we went into Boca and took it to them in games one and two. If you had told me that we would go into their house and take two of three, then I would have been happy. We could have swept them, but give them credit too. They have a good ball club. If we take care of our business through the end of the schedule we will be just fine. One thing this team needs to develop is an "F you, killer instinct". They are getting there.
