Sorry guys, but I still love you all, and GO MEAN GREEN!

PS. I want to join FFR and Emmitt's group of badass alumni, would you guys let in a non-traditional student? I know you guys have spirit. I seriously admire you guys for that and wish I could do something to get that out of our current student base.

As for the original topic.... Dude nobody's conna kick your ass for saying there is some chub in the leadership...I am a FAT MAN and I take no offense to what you say... I am also not a female or associated with Talons.... I would just stop posting about it and let it die...the average life of a controversal thread here on GMG.com is shorter than your average house fly's lifespan

Since most students at North Texas are generally regarded (by the outside world anyway) as "non-traditional", what is your definition of non-traditional.

I'll always welcome new diehards to come kick it with us. It might be a bit more difficult at football games having to get past the "usher nazis" but I also might be convinced to slide on over to the student section.

      That is very subjective. Boise State or UNLV probably will get the G5 spot in the playoff over a one loss Army team. Louisville, SMU, Houston, Rutgers and Cincinnati left conference for greener pastures. So I don’t know who anointed the AAC as 5th, but the playoff committee isn’t listening to them. Army, a team brand new to the conference that came into the conference and dominated. They were independent juggernauts last year at 6-6 🙄. AAC is viewed as better than the MAC, CUSA and Sun Belt. But we certainly won’t be viewed as better than the reconstructed PAC 12 and right now it doesn’t look like we are viewed better than the current MWC.

      Football at The Dat next wrekend

      Don't if y'all know this or not.....but the last two years we've had Texas high school football games played in Louisiana. Both years the games have been at Turpin Stadium in Natchitoches. As a matter of fact, this year they hosted two games on the same day. (Daingerfield versus Newton, and Texarkana versus Port Neches Grove). Both games were last Friday.
