Ok, so I can't figure out how to make polls anymore so I'll just ask the question straight out. Is J-Mo, if he never plays another down for North Texas, a hall of famer?

I'd have to vote yes.

Nope. One good year does note make a hall of famer.

What about a different scenerio: JMO has a lousy sophomore and junior year, but then in his senior year he wins the rushing title. Would he be considered hall of fame worthy then? I say yes. Regardless of the exact same statistics, he went out on top. It's how you remember the player, not necessarily how good he was.

Absolutely. All the NCAA rushing champions in history could fit on a bus. Pretty exclusive club. I'm sure he should shoulder some of the blame for his conditioning the past two years, but there's not much doubt that injuries have played a big part in his problems. Hope this is his year of atonement.

Yes, he is HOF material. Do we take what happens this year into account also? His historic year was fantastic, but will his final year change some of your minds one way or the other? I believe George Marshall had one great year here at NT, including the "miracle in the desert" catch... but he will be rememberred for a dropped "sure-score" in a bowl game. In a "what have you done for me lately" sport, it's sometimes the last thing you did that sticks out.

I say put J-Mo in regardless of this year, but I really think he will have a good year in our new offense.

GMG!!!

I think sometimes we're over eager to put people in the Hall of Fame. But for North Texas to finish the season with the National Rushing Champion get JaMario into the Hall no questions asked. Just don't retire his number.

Yes if he has another good year = 1300 yard 10 TDs

but No if not...one good year does not = HOF in my book

is Joe Charboneau in the baseball HOF?

then niether is JMO

If he put up a 1300 yard season then he would have more than one good year under his belt.
