1. MIDDLE TENNESSEE: Top signees -- WR Wes Caldwell, DE SaCoby Carter, QB Dwight Dasher, OL Mark Fisher. The buzz -- Blue Raiders signed 11 from Florida in their 24-man class.

2. TROY: Top signees -- DL Dion Gales*, OL Micah Grimes, LB Lennie Richardson, OL Jeremiah Wright. The buzz -- Ten of the 26 signees are defensive linemen or linebackers.

3. LA.-LAFAYETTE: Top signees -- DE Kyle Cox, LB Grant Fleming, WR Lance Kelley, G Jaron Odom. The buzz -- A well-balanced class for Ragin' Cajuns includes six Floridians.

4. NORTH TEXAS: Top signees -- WR Sam Dibrell, RB Cam Montgomery*, LB A.J. Penson, DE Kyle Russo. The buzz -- Mean Green signed six wide recievers as they move to pass-happy attack.

5. ARKANSAS STATE: Top signees -- RB William Anderson, LB Demario Davis, RB Derek Lawson, DL Stanley Porter. The buzz -- 24-player class has signees from 11 states, including three from Florida.

6. FAU: Top signees -- RB Jeff Blanchard*, S Austin Jensen, OT Max Karrick, ATH Xavier Stinson. The buzz -- No surprise: All 17 signees are from Florida.

7. FIU: Top signees -- DE/LB Ricky Booker, DT Curtis Bryant, OT Ernest Goodley, QB Bryan Mann. The buzz -- Mann is one of three quarterbacks signed by Golden Panthers.

8. LA.-MONROE: Top signees -- ATH Brice Beck*, OT Cade Burks, LB C.C. Carpenter, LB Alvin Jordan. The buzz -- Five linebackers highlight 26-player class.
