No doubt that is ridiculous, but this kid is the real deal. I have been reading his diary in SLAM magazine when he was starting his junior year in high school...............practicing (and hanging) with current NBA'rs is commonplace for him. He is freakishly good.

All the NBA experts felt that he would have been the #1 pick in the 2002 draft if he had left school (yes, ahead of Yao Ming).

Can't disagree about his parents, however, their situation is totally different than 99.9% of most families. I would imagine that it would be difficult for me to delay a 20-30 million dollar signing bonus when I had never had any money.

They still offer GED programs don't they?
