Unt Vs. New Orleans

Game day is fast approaching. New Orleans is one of three teams (the other two being ArkState, UALR) that we owe a big pimp slapping too. I can't wait to play them tomorrow at the Super Pit! I want to make this a very unpleasant experience for them from start to finish. I want to run them out of town with a big smack down on the score board as well as an earful to remember courtesy of the Pit Crew and students.

On another note. Some interesting match ups from our West division that have implications for our standings: Louisana-Lafayette vs. ArkState, MTSU vs. Louisiana-Monroe, and Arkansas Little Rock vs. Denver. A UNT win against New Orleans, a win by MTSU, and loss by ArkState places us in a tie for first with Louisiana-Monroe (we play them this Saturday!). If ArkState wins, we'll be in a 3 way tie for first. In either scenario, we will be listed in first place given our better overall record. I am especially looking forward to playing the Arkansas teams on our home court. We are a completely different offensive and defensive team since our last meeting, and I want to send them home crying to their mommy.

An incredibly important contest. If we we win, the game Saturday is gigantic. If we lose, we're gonna be scrambling to host a 1st round game. We also need to pay them back for the 2OT loss.

It's nearly a must win IMHO.

Unfortunately, I doubt this will the case. Thursday games are much smaller crowds, presumably because it being a work/school night. Try to bring as many friends/family as you can! I know I will there!
