Hey....don't hold me to this (if it's not on this year).

But usually on Signing Date....Fox Sports SW, does a recruiting wrap up show. It usually is at 6:30, as I recall.

They go over all the Texas schools, LSU, Oklahoma and OSU and Arkansas. Bobby Burton is usually on the show.

I can't find their schedule for today.....but if you're around a TV at 6:30....you might want to turn that channel on, just in case they are doing the recruiting show again this year.

They implied Dodge got some under the radar recruits from DFW. They singled out Evan Walker, Breece Johnson and Marcus King. They also mentioned Vizza would have the opportunity to play early. Pretty short and simple.

Cool thanks. I guess we can't be too picky on coverage from FSSW... they hardly acknowledge that we exist.

Since it's only a 30 minute show, they don't have too much time to say that much about any school.

Randy Rogers (dad of one of our former players) was the recruiting expert.

He was very complimentary of what Todd has done. And as Scotty474 pointed out, he singled out our receivers. He did point out that Marcus King came from a program which didn't throw the ball much, but that when you did throw to him...he made things happen.

Early in the show....they showed Brandon Jackson making a catch against UT (from last season).

All in all, it was pretty good. They definitely gave us as much or more coverage than the other non-BCS schools which they covered.

I can't understand why they devoted any time to LSU and Arkansas. They are not in the Big 12 and not from Texas. That segment wasted some time.

If memory serves me correctly, Fox Sports SW is on in New Orleans; that may be why they covered LSU.

They spent time on LSU and Arkansas because the show airs in all of Louisiana and Arkansas. When I lived outside of New Orleans I could always keep up with Texas sports via FSSW.

Not to mention the thousands of Arkanas Alumni that live in this region and probably watch that show.
