Wait, Rivals indicated TU was an option......how could he possibly be coming to UNT? Thanks for redeeming us TD as I was beginning to wonder if you could actually compete with TU (kidding).

I originally made a comment about our new board trolls, but I felt compelled to apply Thumper's Mother's rule and edit the post.

Wow, either we are extremely inferior or these Rice guys are little Einsteins. Maybe a recruit sees more "stability" with our program. I wonder what the career success rate is with these guy's "rocket scientists". I sorta liked Rice once, NOT ANYMORE!

That's what every private school says after they lose a recruit to a public school. Usually it's something like "I can't believe he would want to associate with those peons who don't pay over 100 grand for their college education"

Or the SMU special "I can't believe we lost a recruit to NTSU, what an idiot. We never wanted him anyways. How could someone possibly not want to come here? Who cares that we haven't had a winning season in 20 years and we average 8k in attendance each year. We make up for that by tailgating in our Mercedes while sipping on brandy."

Rice fun "fact*":

Not sure if this is still current (heard it in 1999), but Rice had/has the highest suicide rate of any college in the country thanks to their sliding scale grading system where everyone is ranked off their peers!

Pressure makes the man... why not go there?

*And by fact, I mean probably someone pulled this out of their anoose while I was looking at schools for engineering

It baffles me that another major (D-1) Texas football program fan thinks UNT is still D-1AA, or non-D1...w/e

I guess some people don't follow football outside their own conference.

Also, noticed that someone on the 5Afootball.com website also thinks UNT is not DI,this is someone from Southlake I think.
