pt guard play

I really like the way this kid plays...he's well built, dives for everything and scraps his ass off when someone is posting him up. Don't know how good his outside shot is, but he is very fundamentally sound. Kept the ball moving w/ sound passes and played tight defense. It's been a while since we've had a true point guard that knows how to penetrate and dish to the big men. I haven't seen us have that many dunks ever.

That is very good news. Hopefully with a little seasoning he can get defenders to respect his shot. A PG who can distribute the ball around could really send this team to the next level.

Low point in the season:

Attendence for the Dec 16th game against St. Edwards. My guess is we have maybe 1000 in attendence (probably less). We are going to have to start scheduling around the N.O. Bowl biggrin.gif

Maybe we should start scheduling a game in New Orleans for that night, maybe vs. Tulane or Southern or (gasp!) even LSU?  We'd already have a good crowd in town! ohmy.gif

Now that is some good thinking...........good luck with pulling everybody off Bourbon St. though laugh.gif
