Wow someone is heated up. Frankly Jaydub I really dont care what you have to say...actions speak louder than words. The truth really hurts...again i'm not trying to bash NT athletics but i'm bringing out the facts. And just cuz I am new to this forum doesnt mean I dont know more than you or just as much as you. I've been around NT athletics for a long time. And yes you can be broke and not have money to buy or build crap. You dont have to be homeless to broke.

I'm gonna have to agree with JayDub here. There's a big difference between being broke and having the money to build a $60 million stadium. The athletic department isn't broke. It has the money to operate. Again, big difference.

?? What the heck are you talking about, Plumm? Has this happened?

No, TIgreen, that "hastily called press conference" was just a projection of what will most likely happen when all the monies are in (whether that be by one Big Donor or a consortium of Big Donors). Maybe "hastily" was not the right choice of a word, but that word does mean UNT would not be able to contain themselves or wait too long to get such exciting information of a completely funded new stadium out, eh?

Why should I explain it Plumm? You started the thread and we both know what and who inspired you, don't we.

Yes................we all know what and who inspired me, Eagle Man.:blowup:

Dear Lord:

Why couldn't I have been an Aggie or a Longhorn (like most of my other Texas Gulf Coastal cousins)? :(

Amen.....

(just kiddin'--It's Good to Be Green, frustrating as hades sometimes, but still................good). :)
