I was messing around with the On Demand stations the other day and found an archive of the area HS Football games of the week.

One of the games was Lee vs. Roosevelt. For those not aware, we have a verbal commitment from Lee DT Jesse Desoto. Let me tell all of you, this kid looked great! He was injured early in the second half and didn't play much towards the end.

When he was in the game he spent the majority of his time in the backfield. He forced two fumbles, had a couple of tackles for loss and sacked the QB.

The officials could have called offensive holding on probably every single play. He was double teamed often, but was still able to break free and cause chaos in the backfield.

The other game I watched was the Alamo Heights Mules vs. The Boerne Greyhounds. Only in HS football could you have a mascot match-up like that.

Sam Dibrell is going to be a great reciever for us. He must have caught 15 passes. I think he scored three TD. He is quick, runs tight routes and has the size and strength to abuse defenders. He had a couple of circus catches that reminded me of the Mighty Quinn.

Dibrell worked really well with QB Vizza. Vizza has sound mechanics when passing and also has the speed to run the ball. He threw for almost 400 yards in the game and his completion % was around 75%.

I really hope we can persuade him to come to good ole UNT.
