---Texas Legislature just getting started. You need to check to see what bills have been introduced. The real problem is not so much "has it been approved" , which I think it once was, but "has it been funded" which needs to appear in the proposed state budget..

---Our wonderful guys two years ago did not not even pass a budget (actually the legislature did but I don't think the Law School made it ) but it did not matter anyway since our even more wonderful governor chose to veto it and the state operated without a budget for a while (a full year) and public schools did not have the funds need to operate properly. ---Unfortunately for education , he is back....
