Peyton Manning now weighs about 500lbs less because of that monkey that just got off of his back AND the NFL has now seen the first black head coach to take his team to the Super Bowl (and it was done TWICE in one day).

That's what Tom Brady gets for getting to bang Bridget Moynahan AND Gisele Bundchen.

Wait...I think I'd be OK with not making the Super Bowl for that.

Disregard...

He deserves is that was one of the best NFL games I can remember. Sloppy at times but a classic.

With 3 Super Bowl rings already in hand you're damn right you'd sacrifice a trip to the Super Bowl for that trim.

Can we say trim on the board?

If you can say it on a billboard...I think it's board approved.

There's a billboard on northbound 35 on the Cooke-Denton county border for a company that deals in new windows and other home improvement supplies that says:

"We've Got More Trim Than The Playboy Mansion"

With regards to the AFC game...did you notice...

On the last drive by Ind...Bill Belichick calls somone on the defense over. The next play looked way too easy for the Ind TD.

Did Bill tell the defense to let Ind have the TD? The world will never know because I doubt Bill will admit it. Here are the advantages to doing that:

1. Colts score the TD, NE has 2 timeouts and 60 seconds to go the distance. Not that big of a deal for an elite team like New England. You see it a lot in the regular season where a team goes the length of the field in less then a minute.

2. You have the ball in the hands of your most trusted player: Tom Brady. He is a championship player and has made this drive in the past.

3. THIS IS THE BIG DISADVANTAGE TO PLAYING DEFENSE ON THE TD PLAY BY IND: If you play defense trying to stop them, you burn your timeouts and probably another 40 seconds. If Ind scores the TD anyway, now you have no timeouts and :20 to score a TD. Maybe the defense holds up, maybe they don't. It is a crap shoot on that end too and if you fail, you end up with the ;20, no timeouts, and need a TD. This is a ploy I saw used in Arena Football. The defense let the team score so they would have enough time to score themselves.

It didn't work out that way. The Colts intercept the ball playing a 4-0-7 defense. Sometimes it doesn't work out. But 60 seconds and 2 timeouts to score a TD is better then 20 seconds, no timeouts to score a TD.

--- Crazy situation of the day was the NE play that left R.Caldwell completely uncovered by Indy (total mess-up by defense) in Q-4 and with a 99% chance of scoring. Brady noticed him and immediately throws to him .... unbelievably he dropped the catch that most of us might have made. ---From that point on I began to think it just wasn't "supposed" to be a NE day.

--- I can't ever remember seeing a defense fail to see as receiver who was that obviously open. He was on the NE side of the field so I suppose he blended in with the sideline a bit but still Indy had to be absolutely "blind" for a moment.

Lovie Smith! That has to be the Big Sandy version of "A Boy Named Sue". I can't imagine trying to grow up in a small town with a name like that.

BTW, does anyone know where Mr. Smith played college ball?

I'm no sure if you guys saw the post game show after the colts/pats game but when the dude was interviewing bellicheck he literally only asked 2 questions cuz seemed like bill was pissed and his answers were just quick answers....like he was on pms or something. I understand he was probably pissed but man show a little class....its not that they lost to a cissy team...they did lose to Peyton Manning on the road.

great games. I was rooting for Smith and Dungy, as I think both are class acts.

Watched the first game with a ton of Saint's fans at Woodrows in Houston. Many of them used to live in New Orleans so it was neat seeing how passionate they were about their team- though I cant say I have seen a grown man crying in the bar because their team lost (although I came really close when Pujols hit that grand slam in the bottom of the 9th in the 2005 NLCS...).

Hopped over to Champps for the Colts/Pats. When we arrived we had to wait for a table because some woman had gone into LABOR in the women's restroom

Reche Caldwell's problem: Danny White eyes!

Poor guy has a permanent "deer-in-the-headlights" look to him.

Was she at least drunk enough to feel little to no pain?

I know I'm going to hell.

 that i do not know, but will say that I was somewhat alarmed by a different pregnant woman drinking beers next to me earlier during the saints game and the fact that there were also several children running around the bar. I mean come on!

How is being upset after a loss like that, aka having no class?

This bit is getting soo tired

I am a pats fan and am a little biased, but how many patriots have been arrested the last 6 years since they won a superbowl.

none

do they celebrate on touchdowns excessively. not really

so coaches and players upset after losses are classless?

I know alot of us on here would have love to see DD upset after anything.

Guess he's classless

Kinda like the pregnant woman I saw chain smoking at the blackjack table at a casino in Mesquite, NV the other night...
