Jay Dub is correct, it's Atlanta, Texas (a town, with a 3A school about 20 miles southwest of Texarkana). As a matter of fact, today's Texarkana paper had their all area teams.

Anyway, Marqueese was named 1st team defense for the All-Northeast Texas Team (Texarkana Gazette).

This kid could be VERY special!

I am talking the #1 recruit from the entire class. This guy on the outside could be deadly. I hear he is a little rough, but you can't coach size speed and athleticism.

STUD! :D

Thank you. Since my father and his younger brother graduated from Texarkana HS, I know where Atlanta Tx. is. I also know that their mascot is the Jackrabbits. This mornings Star-Telegram report said that Mr. Davis was from Atlanta Ga...........I should have known. <_<

Ok, anyone have any idea about Somerville's mascot.....the YEGUAS. In spanish, I think that it means Mare, but their school's web-site is full of Indian symbols.

FWIW Rivals has him as a 5.4 2-star. 5.5 is 3-star. So far he's the highest rated recruit (by Rivals) for TD.

I like that he played in the east meets west high school all star game.. there were a TON of top recruits, in an article i read about the game talking about the recievers it talked about Roberson's height and how that mixed w/ a good vertical allows him to leap over almost any cornerback out there..

here is the link for info on the all star game, its already been played but i can't find any stats to know how he actually did in the game

GO ahead and add Marcus King to the list

UNT lands King Posted: Sunday, January 21, 2007Marcus King is headed to Denton.

The Trinity receiver, and member of the Star-Telegram Area 50 and State 100, has committed to UNT.

"I liked the campus a lot," King said. "It's like Trinity. We have a lot of different races there, and I like learning about other cultures and people."

King, who's played in the Trojans run-oriented offense, will now switch to Todd Dodge's pass-oriented spread.

"I'm used to the run, now I get to go to the spread, where you've got five wides," King said.

King said he hopes to see playing time as a freshman.— Trae Thompson
