Has Anyone Heard Of A Nt Player From The Late 60's / Early 70'

Got this off of the North Texas NCAABBS board, thought that I would re-post it to try and help this guy out. I think that we were in the same conference as Memphis during that time period (Missouri Valley) but I am not sure. Anyways, here is his post and a link to the NCAABBS North Texas Board to respond to him if you can help the guy out.

For some of you old folks out there. I had a friend who was a great hoopster at NTSU in the late 60's and early 70's named Joe Hamilton. Have lost touch with him in the last 25 years or so. Last I heard he was in Louisville area. Was hoping someone may know something current on him. Thanks, Tiger Rab (Memphis)

I can't track Hamilton down for anyone, but I can tell you he was a fine basketball player for NT during the mid 1960's. And yes, North Texas was in the Missouri Valley Conference with Memphis and a host of other top tier teams.

I feel sure that the Athletic Department can contact Joe. He is a member of the North Texas Hall of Fame; inducted in 1989.

Hamilton was from Kentucky and the last that I heard he was back there.

He also played for the Dallas Chapperells of the ABA days.
