Has it crossed anyone's mind that Dodge and Co now have to go head to head with Dickey for some recruits?

Would, could, Dickey whisper all of the negatives that he knows about North Texas in the ears of the recruits?

I thought he took the negatives with him: RF and his offense.

I'm sure he will, but would does USU have over UNT?

Wouldn't DD's last 3 weeks of antics as MG HFC suggest that anything just might be possible?

Negative recruiting was never an effective kind of recruiting the 25 years I spent in the tech school recruiting business, and I'd bet most Texas HS football recruits would be smart enough not to fall for some of the Coach Negative Ned's antics out there with recruiters whose talents are just good enough to only put down another school while they are not smart enough to praise their very own employer they are now recruiting for? But who knows, maybe they have the toughest job in the NCAA because they now recruit there, too?

why would he whisper them? he broadcasted them to the whole world every chance he got while he was here.

A friend of mine was considering buying Dickey's house in Denton until he realized that he ran the risk of becoming depressed over the tough situation he might have at the house. I am told that Diet Coke boy does the lawn over there.

Dickey doesn't strike me as much of a snowboarding partner, but winter sports and mountain scenery are about the only draws I can think of that they have over us. Come to think of it, not a bad draw if you're a mountain person. Luckily most top Texas football recruits don't fall into that category.

A. He hasn't done anything.

B. Who cares?

It's said that generals lose wars when they re-fight yesterday's battles instead of today's. Turn the page and live in the present.

Totally agree. Besides, I thought we were now taking the stand that we were going to go head-to-head with the B-12 coaches in recruitment. Why would we worry about Dickey and USU.
