I wish I could go back further than 3 pages on the board and just link you to key threads that could catch you up.

The general consensus is a lot of excitement and optimism. It's a message board, so there are always things people will find to whine about and put a strange spin on. Recently, there have been discussions of lemmings and cronies. I'll let you figure that one out.

Recruiting is getting every one excited. I don't think it hurts that the previous "regime" used super-advanced stealth techniques that left nothing but smoke and mirrors to the casual fan.

Are you planning on going to games? Do you have season tickets? It's good to be green.

5 wins in 07

That was exactly what i was shooting for. I just think this season is extremely important, I'm sure TD's record is gaining the attention of many great players but they are most likely still reluctant to come to UNT because of our last two seasons. Im sure If NT comes out and does at least decent next season the players will begin pouring in. In regards to NT doing decent, there is no doubt in my mind that they will. I work with a SLC FB player that has played for TD the last three seasons and he has been telling me all about him and how he runs his teams. TD is amazing and a great catch for UNT.

I do plan on going to the games, I tried to go to atleast all the home games last season. Im a student so I get in to the games for free so no i did not buy season tickets. I heard our first game next season is OU? If this is true I plan to go to the game and everyone else should as well. We need to give support and if we can win it would be a great start to the season and a great start to the dynasty of Todd Dodge at UNT.

I would be comfortable with a 5 or 6 win season. As long as we crush SMU on their home field, I will be a happy camper. TD deserves some latitude for his first year here. LEt him get comfortable with the college game, develop his recruiting game and then come back and take the sunbelt in 08.

I'm hoping for 6-7 wins. That may be optimistic, but I look at a lot of the Sun Belt games we lost last year, and we didn't lose by much. With renewed excitement and a higher scoring offense, we should be able to win a couple of those games. That's assuming that he can use a lot of the existing talent in his offense, and the players learn it, but I'm still optimistic.

The real question, is what will the attendence numbers look like? I'd guess closer to 20k for an average.
