Jimbo Fisher is listed as a candidate to replace recently-fired Minnesota coach, Glen Mason. This must be the sixth or seventh school in which I've seen his name mentioned. He must really suck in the interviewing process.

---The Minnesota coach did not have a great year anyway but the 31 point comeback by our fellow Texans at Tech did him in. I can't imagine how he and his team must have felt after the game and the following day.

In the coordinator's listing, it says that Florida State is working on a deal to land Fisher as the OC for a year or two, then replace Bowden when he retires, which fits the rumor I heard.

If that's true and transpires as you've stated, then it will be a great decision for Jimbo.
