Something you can bet on. We can get a state-of-the-art stadium that is the envy of most and some on this board will still find something to moan and groan about. :rolleyes:

Actually, I disagree.....

I think anything that replaces Fouts, will gladly be accpeted by everyone at UNT, especially our opponents ( i.e. Baylor debacle 03).....

New stadium news is long overdue though....

Troy will be next for C-USA.

If it were today...probably. But if we can build our season ticket sales to an amount equal to or greater than Troy's then I think that we win any expansion derby based on potential. Not only that, we have a better history than Troy.

However, I don't foresee any changes in conferences for several more years; Boise State's success notwithstanding.

The big advantage we have is the DFW Metroplex viewing area versus the Troy, Alabama viewing area.

Troy will be next for C-USA.

Strongly disagree. Troy has limited name recognition, weak basketball and facilities, and is not an easy location to get to.
