Big 12 Not So Hot In Bowl Season

Tech is losing pretty bad right now and it is all but over...

Including that game the big 12 sits at 1-4 right now with their only win a close one with OSU over Alabama.

I'm sure you know now that Tech came back and won that game 44-41 in OT. Biggest come-from-behind bowl win in D-1 history.

And even though Mizzou lost Oregon State chose to go for two for the win rather than the tie and overtime.

With the Troy win in the N.O. Bowl and now these two big games already this is turning out to be a great bowl season so far.

and that Tech game was just INSANE to watch. If it can move Mike Leach to postgame tears, you KNOW it was something.... poor, poor Minnesota though. Gotta feel for the Gopher seniors especially.

Big 12 eliminated from the Conference Bowl Championship or what ever it is called. There is an award for the conference with the best bowl record. Minimum 4 or 5 teams in bowl games.

As of now the Big 12 is 3-3 in bowls. Texas, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State have all won.

Missouri, Kansas State and Texas A&M have all lost (or in the case of A&M, had the stuffing kicked out of it).

Oklahoma and Nebraska have yet to play.

---I understand we have a lot Tech haters here ( not me I am a West Texan with a Tech-grad wife) but what they did was remarkable and I am supprised that no thread was created that mentioned it. Like it or not, TxTech is almost never out of a game [ 20 point come-backs are common ] and they are exciting to watch. ---I hope we will be as well in the future.

---I guess a lot of yawl disagree with me but when any Texas team wins a bowl game it can be slightly helpful and can draw attention to us... It points out how outstanding football is in Texas. I see UT won a tough game as well...and TCU won a blowout. We all have "TEXAS" in our school name. ..

The tech comeback was good... but not all that remarkable. They were playing against a very mediocore Minnesota team.

A 31 point comeback against anyone is amazing. Thankfully I don't have the NFL Network, so I didn't have to see it.
