With snow storms closing the Denver Airport tonight and tomorrow, will the team be able to make the trip to Denton?

If necessary, at what time would a postponement be called, and what is the method for announcing it?

George and Hank said stay tuned to MeanGreenSports.com

Hopefully, the Pioneers arrive safely.

Just listened to the Air Traffic Control teleconference the good folks in Herndon, VA put on every 2 hours.

Denver is planning on having at least 2 runways open at all times today for instrument approaches and one for departures. Light snow and crappy visibility all day. None of the weather guessers can agree on an actual snowfall guesstimate, but they seem to agree that the most DEN will get should be around about a foot.

U of Denver shouldn't have any problems getting out as long as all goes the way we think it will (we all know how that goes). They will however have to deal with some serious taxi delays...so they might be a little late. ;)

JJ said on the postgame interview that both UNT and Denver didn't play another game until next Thursday, Jan. 4 (UNT at UALR and Denver at ULL). He indicated the game could be played later in the week if need be. Hank or George said it would be better to play DU now as they are struggling at 1-11 rather than later in the season.

I would imagine that DU will be able to make it to Denton. They just said on the Weather Channel, that the Denver airport is open. (Friday morning).
