if the first drive so far is any indication, this could be a shootout... Westlake is moving through the SLC defense with NO problem at all. At the SLC 15 as we speak...

SLC is heavily favored and should win, but Westlake's O has come out to play... a lot more than Allen did anyway...

Can't listen to the game very well, too much side conversations going on. Perhaps they only scored a FG?

Yeah.. Westlake's TE had a pass just go off his fingertips in the end zone, so they settled for a FG.

SLC just had a TEN play drive that didn't even make it to midfield.. what a crazy drive that was. 4th and 6 Dragons, almost the end of the 1st down 3-0.

SLC's safety just made a TD-saving hit on a sure catch by the Westlake TE on 3rd down... Chaps have to settle for a FG again, Westlake up 6-0.

SLC defense has bent all over the field, but has yet to break... unfortunately, they have been on the field for 90% of the game. O needs a long drive.

Horrible three & out for SLC. Riley Dodge missed a wide open Tre Newton on a little swing pass that could have gone a long way, and then looked very panicked when taking a sack on 3rd. Dragons move backwards on that drive, Westlake about to get it back with a gassed SLC defense forced to step up..

penalties hurting the SLC defense... Westlake inside the 30, just goes for it on a 4th and one and a nice second effort by the RB gets the first.. The Chaps need to punch this one in the end zone for confidence's sake... to say they've dominated is an understatement, but only FGs so far..

TD Westlake. Nice pass on a bootleg to their leading pass catcher.

This looks way, WAY too easy. Completely shocking. Coach Dodge will need to pull out all the stops tonight..

SLC did stop the 2pt try (WAY too early IMHO)

Westlake 12, SLC 0.

Possibly an underrated big play... SLC was about to get the ball back with 40 seconds left and decent field position, and they commited just a braindead late-hit that cost them 15 yards and more importantly, the ball.

Good shot of TD just tearing into the kid afterwards...

It beats DD's staff pattin the kid on the butt.

man 15-7 this is terrible for slc, i was really h wanting to see them just light it up. time for some adjustments

I think we'll see how well Dodge's staff can make adjustments at halftime. I look for more pressure on the Westlake QB during passing plays and more screens by SLC.
