Thursday's Practice

Kendrick Davis:

KD took part in all the drills and scrimmages at today's practice. He is still wearing a black brace on his left wrist. The device does not touch the palm of his hand or any of his fingers. He worked with the second team, but to my eyes, he looks ready to play right now. My guess is he will wait at least untill the brace comes off before he plays in games.

After the practice, KD shot 3-pointers from various spots around the arc. He nailed 18 of 27. Then he started drilling mid range jumpers. I didn't bother counting as he convinced me he hasn't lost his shooting touch.

Collin Mangrum:

Today Mangrum played some at point guard for just the second time this season. The first time was near the end of the WKU game after Bell and Sturns fouled out.

Just a guess. I think it has already been announced that he won't play the next two games.

They probably want to make sure he is fully recovered as to not risk further injury when there is no need. The next 2 games are easy wins.
