Since I am finally a permanent alum, I wanted to go ahead and get a class ring. Can anyone tell me how to go about procuring one?

I think it's done through the bookstore, but I could be mistaken.

I was flooded with flyers - I guess you managed to hide away from the watchful eye of Jostens...

There's usually a display set up inside or right outside of the bookstore to sell them. If not, call Josten's directly (they're in Denton) and they can hook you up.

I would call the Joston sales rep for NT.

He can get you a better price.

I would email the NT Exes and ask for his name and number.

I can not remeber his name at this time.

The Jostens location on the South end of town near I35 and State School Rd. can get you all set-up. I have gone there a couple of times to drop my Class Ring off for repairs and cleaning.

I think there are two? styles of the class ring. I got the one that has the emerald on top, but I have a problem with it getting cracked/broken all the time. The emerald sits on the top and is exposed to getting hit on things. Especially when DD was coaching!

Does anyone else have that problem? Does anyone know if I could get the other style without the emerald? Thoughts?

Mine also has the emerald, but I've never had it broken or even scratched. But again, I haven't punched anyone out with it on yet :D

Yup... happened 3 times to me. I finally paid my jewler to repair it right, and he put in a slightly larger stone. Never had a problem since.

Yes you can get a ring without the emerald. Instead of an emerald there is a star.

I like the ring with the emerald in it more, but I don't want to have to keep sending it out for repairs. I'll probably give the emerald ring one more try, but if it breaks again... I'll do the swap. Maybe with Dodge at the helm I'll be able to refrain from punching things... :D

      I think what Odom was running at USC was a 3-3-5 that had a “RUSH” position serving as a hybrid DE/LB lined up on the line of scrimmage, so really only 2 second level linebackers, making it similar to a 4-2-5 in effect. Different from Caponi’s 3-3-5 stack.       ***OFFICIAL UNT vs. UTSA IN-GAME DISCUSSION***

      Offense lacks a vertical passing game. People have raved about the top 5 offense in passing yards per game but per the NCAA website and ESPN (NCAA is more precise with some of the numbers), CM is 48th in yards per completion at 12.37 YPC, 41st in yards per attempt at 7.85 YPA, 45th in completion percentage at 63.7%, and tied for second in pass attempts at 422. The numbers show we don't push the ball downfield as much as others and that we aren't efficient enough considering how little we do that. Being top 5 in passing yards is simply a volume stat at this point. We just throw a ton. Screens are great but when it's most of what you do, it gets dicey. Those and run plays start off as negative yardage plays dependent on blocking. Can't have those every drive. About teams figuring out EM, our competition has gotten better.
