As much as I hate to admit it, getting DeLoach back from UCLA to be an assistant at a non-BCS school seems unlikely. I would think our only chance to get him would have been as a head coach.

It'd be nice to be wrong, though

I loved the guy's intensity. He never stopped coaching and encouraging his players even in games where inept offensive performances had eliminated any chance of victory. (North Texas fans referred to those as non-conference games)

That being said, I hope we get whoever Todd Dodge wants to run the team.
