I see the ad on NFL Network and in Sports Illustrated that this is the last time for Favre.

I do not recall seeing a press conference or news story with Favre saying "this is my last season."

Did I miss it or is this speculation from everyone else?

He Has NOT decided yet and said he will NOT until after the season a few weeks back. A cheap , yet clever way to try sell a game that people for the most part outside of MIN and GB could care less about.

I don't know. There were some really good "farewell tours" for Jabbar and a few others that sold well.
