Weird timing for me to think about this

Did anyone notice this season that they changed the diamond vision pregame video to a montage that showed past stars like Mean Joe Green, Abner Haynes and Ron Shanklin, Brad Kassell, etc? I really liked what they did with that and ESPECIALLY liked the background music they used (Won't get Fooled again by the Who)... my only thought is that you should have the music go much louder and through the entire stadium instead of just the video board. I feel like we don't always use the video board to the full advantage, kind of like buying a nice TV but not hooking up the surround sound speakers for it.

Are there even any other viable speakers at Fouts other than what is on the jumbotron? I didn't think so. And when I say viable, I meant "don't sound like crap". Those megaphone looking things don't count.

I preferred the "Thunderstruck" intro by AC/DC much better and agree, crank up the volume. The residents of Krum should be complaining!

Thunderstruck's video also had past players like Greene and Hayes on it.

One of the recent Season Highlight DVDs has the "What time is it?" and "Thunderstruck" videos as one part. I'm sure someone can rip it and split it into the two parts.

thunderstruck sounds good. i wish i could hear it from tool, tx. we need louder, more up-beat, rockin tunes. throw in a "Home Sweet Home" after touchdowns.

Thunderstruck will always defeat me because of that dork at the Mavs games.

How bout Kid Rocks Bawitdaba, sub Mean Green for Kid Rock and you have a bad a$$ intro that everyone can yell along to.

And I agree that the band needs some new tunes. Conan would be good, there has to be some good sci fi stuff that hasn't been tapped. Didnt the Klingons have a tough tune? Or something from Terminator.

Do not knock Robson Ranch. I visited a BBQ bout there once and found many were NT fans and attend the games. It would be a good area to do a little promo work in. Maybe a bus to the games. Some of the retirees might life to leavfe a legacy for the university.
