Let's get that schedule out! I can't wait for the first home game (after the game at Fouts Field South). Speaking of... how many SLC families just became UNT fans? We can take over Ford Stadium.

Email RV and tell him you approve. He's taken a lot of heat lately in the media with the DD fiasco, and like he said has lost 25 pounds during this process.

I want to make a comment to GTBG also. I was very happy with the way in which you conducted the coaching search.

The silent treatment and refusal to comment on potential coaching candidates are unavoidable in this process. I, for one, enjoyed the excitement all the rumors and unconfirmed speculation garnered. I was impressed with some of the coaches that were on our "short list" and happy to see the high interest level in UNT.

It was also very refreshing to hear the excitement and vision of UNT football that Coach Dodge expressed at the press conference. I hope his enthusiasm and commitment to excellence will propel Mean Green football to the next level. I am sure his style of football will be quickly adopted by fans and players and look forward to seeing several thousand more fans in the stands next season.

I'm very excited about the future of this program, and as promised I will join the Mean Green Club this year and support this team. This is very good for the program and the University!
