Well it appears this board is composed of approximately 25% students. Most of those students appear to be about to graduate soon.

I suppose these numbers are roughly what you would expect being that we are in school for such a short amount of time and an alum for a lifetime.

If I did the poll again I probably would have included "fan" as an option for those that just follow the program.

--I am one of the geezers of the board.... two degrees.... '66 and '75 ...but two of my three offspring have NT degrees as well.... 2000 and 2003.

--"Fans "would have made sense as an option as well. My third one (Aggie) often goes to games with his brother as does another Aggie buddy who lives in Dallas.. They love the ticket prices (and the tail-gating and the girl watching) compared to the A&M ticket prices plus NT is close-by. If we get "name" teams coming to Denton and we can be competitive with them , attendence will really improve.

I'm a Town Secretary now. I did at least spend 4 years as a police officer.

MLS in 03 - 1 year in the library field.

MPA 2007 (I'm actually done right now, but I was a moron and forgot to apply for graduation, so I won't technically get my degree until May)

      Keebler has to go!

      I've been griping about this for decades at this point. It is amazingly dumb and does nothing for us. Did he have a better deal on the table? Unlikely.. Would it keep him here if he did well and a big program came calling. No. It doesn't do a dang thing for us. Yet again, and again,and again, and again we do it. It costs us every single time.

      The point stands that we aren’t buying out three years of Morris’ contract. He will got one more year, at least, to sell the leadership on why he should keep his job.

      It’s simply a coach’s decision imo. In 2009 I watched TCU’s Jaden Oberkrom line up and attempt a 60 yarder for Arlington Martin vs Trinity at Pennington….as a Freshman. Trinity jumped off sides so he kicked from 55 and just missed to the right by a foot. It would have been good from 65. I promise he was kicking in Junior High and if he wasn’t that’s all on the coaches.. Both years my son played for Weatherford Hall Middle School against Aledo, 7th and 8th grade, Aledo kicked all their extra points. It’s part of the game, and Aledo hires people that demand all of the game be taught and coached. Nothing about their special teams are missed, just like the rest of their game. But this didn’t surprise anyone because Aledo had just had a kid, Chance Nevarez on their varsity set the national record for the most extra points made in a row. Buchanon demanded it, so his Junior High coaches demanded it. So just like everything, if a coach decides it’s not in his interest then he’s not gonna demand it and coach it. Same for installing a short yardage play from under center. If the coach isn’t interested in it and instead thinks handing off 5 yards deep to make 6 inches is the best way, despite how many times he’s seen that not work….then his team will never develop one. Same for kickers in Junior high. Rick
