So my crew and I are escorting a cot-loaded woman who is at 39 weeks, contractions 3 minutes apart, and about to calve her third child down from a 4th floor buisiness building in an elevator, along with three ambulance crew members. When one of the ambulance crew members who is looking at me sort of funny say's "Hey, you a UNT dude?". I looked up and said "Yes I am". He then smiled and said, "Your FirefightnRick, aren't you?" Turns out he's one of the kids that currently does Scrappy and was on his third shift as an EMT with our contract ambulance company. Another good kid working his way "Down the Corridor of Years" like the rest of us at ol' U of NT. Hopefully they got the nice lady to the hospital in time and he not have to be the "real" dirty bird if you know what I mean.

I know that kid, and can tell you that I've never met someone so in love with the university. He's in my opinion, one of the best Scrappy's when he's out there, and when he's not, he's doing a great job promoting the university. I believe he graduates in May...
