So I am completely on board with Jim Harbough. Should he be ready to sign a contract, let's GO!!!! Then, schedule the official announcement at a press conference during the time of day that all news media will clamour to be there. Send out press releases that a news conference is set up for (make that two days prior to the actual press conference).

Make a huge deal out of this event! Whomever we hire will be big-time news for The Mean Green!!!!!

Also, at this news conference, we should announce that the major stadium donations are in, and that ground will be broken on our new 45,000 Interstate Stadium this spring.

Jim Harbough, Jimbo Fisher, or Todd Dodge. Or....maybe, just maybe a shockingly new candidate is about to surface. Don't quote me on this. Check with a lengthly post from Plum first. That should take us into the weekend.

We will have to wait until SLC loses, or Dec 23rd for official news unless Harbaugh had one hell of an interview. All of this silence shows me that Dodge is the frontrunner. If you really want him, you should be cheering on SLC, he wants to win a championship with his son, period. Anything less and he will probably stick around to try and get the job done next year when Riley is a SR. Make no mistake, I believe that Dodge will leave SLC - whether it be this year to become NT's new HFC or next year as a QB coach at the school of his son's choosing has yet to be determined. The big question really should be, would Riley choose NT to play with his dad for 5 more years.... and would we want that? What if he can't do at SLC on a IA field of play? There is a precedent for a Sun Belt QB to be pretty damn succesfull at the pro level - just ask The University of Louisiana.... their ex QB was in a Super Bowl a couple of years ago. I don't know if Riley's intentions are to play Pro Ball though - he is a little small for that league - but he can always grow.

Harbaugh all the way!!!!! If we can get him he would bring immediate excitement with the football players and fans. I already know the players are very excited about the posiblity of Harbaugh being their head coach and they're not excited about the possiblity of Dodge (I talk directly with some of our best players). Harbaugh knows how to motivate and he knows how to run an offense to score points. He is a very tough competitor (remember when Jim Kelly questioned his toughness on the NFL today show because he sat out a game due to an injury? Harbaugh found him and punched his lights out.) (that doesn't mean he's another RF either ).

As far as recruiting, This guy would be able to recruit the entire United States. Hell he's already a millionair, if he didn't have the budget to recruit he would problably use his own money for travleing. He may be able to compete with the Big 12 for some of the blue chip players in Texas too because of who he is and our new facilities and the excitement he will bring to the table. Look guys (and gals) this dude lives eats and breathes footall. he doens't have other adgendas like maybe our former coach had. This guy would have ONE goal and thats to win championships...not to just win the Sun Belch conference but win all the way. And isn't that what all you guys have been wanting? someone with an attitude that skys the limit, not, as DD put it on the local radio here in Tulsa it's really tough with our budget to compete, so if we win the Sun Belch and go to the Rauncholla bowl we should be happy little children .

I think we all are exited about Harbaugh. However I'm not going to have a pity party if some other team hires him away w/more money and we "settle" for Dodge.
