I figure JJ would have him return for the first game after the holidays.  He won't be ready for anyone but that D2 or 3 school we play before Christmas and no reason to rush him back for that game.

Ive heard from reliable sources he might be done...for a while anyway

Really? Do tell.  I thought someone had mentioned a few days ago that he had the hard cast off?

i cant do that...although i could have misunderstood the end of the year as meaning the end of the calendar year.

From DRC today....

"Davis working way back into shape

Kendrick Davis has removed the bandages from his left hand and wrist and could return to UNT's lineup by the end of the month, Mean Green head coach Johnny Jones said Tuesday."

You probably should ask "Deep Throat" to be a little more specific before you ask people to rely on him in the future.

I wouldn't count on any kind of shooting accuracy for awhile.  6-7 weeks in a cast will make your arm shrivel like a worm in the sun.  How much does a broken finger or hand affect a guy's shot?  Now think of a TORN TENDON.

Hate to be negative, but I think the best bet would be a medical redshirt and save him for next year.

We need him now. Just get him ready for the second half of the Conference schedule. But if he is not ready to go save him for next year.
