Does anyone have a link to the roster of the current Southlake Dragons?

The DMN has a roster, but 90 % of the players does not have info on weight etc.

From this limited roster and current individual stats in the DMN it appears that the main offensive FB players are juniors this year.

Jr. Tre' Newton RB 204 rushes for 1459 yds, 14 TV receiving 20 passes for 235 yds and 3 TD's

Jr. Riley Dodge QB 159 yds rushing, 1073 yds passing, 13 TD's

Jr. Blake Cantu WR 65 catches for 1082 yds, 12 TD's

Sr. Anthony Ford WR 74 catches for 9 TD's

His Jr. stats: 8 catches for 75 yds, Defense 3 interceptions..being recruited for CB by TCU, 5-8, 160 lbs. 3 rushes for 37 yds

names of Lineman can be but without height and weight it is hard to ID whether they are legimate candidates.

I later went to Rivals and it shows the following 4 Srs.

WR Anthony Ford 5-8, 160, considering TCU

OG Robert Hill 6-2, 254, 4.63 considering TCU

WDE Kyle Russo 6-3, 240, 4.7 considering TT

Jr. Stats: 67 UnT, 90 tackles, 12 for loss, 10 scks, 1 interception

CB Arius Ford 5-10, 185, 4.5 considering AZ, Boston College, Northwestern, TCU Vandebilt. Bench 260, Squat 455

Points: 1. Most of the players TD will recruit will not be from Southlake Carroll, his record there is taking average players, playing together, well coached, system winners.

2. Rivals only list 4 players as Srs, the Srs. are listed above. As mentioned in subsequent posts, TD's value lies in his coaching ability, he has a system that works and would work even better with recruits from other schools. I would love to have him recruit some of the big Trinity linemen.

Sigh....all we can do is wait, I would believe Fisher, Dodge and Harbaugh (sp?) are all serious candidates and would do well. Harbaugh has HC experience but is an unknown in Texas High Schools. Todd Dodge remains my favorite. I just believe he would attract a much higher quality HS player in TX than the other two because of his name recognition and reputation

Not sure but I doubt you'll see many of their athletes sign a D IA scholarship. It just hasn't happened too often. Look at the kid that took over for Chase Daniels(Missouri). He ends up go 1-AA at Texas State.

I've posted this before but they had to replace their 3 year starting center this season. I watched him play in the Oil Bowl game this past August and he stood about 5 foot 8 and maybe 220 lbs. His parents said he wasn't going to pursue college football and had enrolled at Tarrant County JC this semester.

This is a tribute to the coaching abilities of the SLC coaching staff. When you are consistently winning, and you're not flooding the college football market with talent.......that's coaching!

Rick, didn't Mike Renfro's son sign a letter of intent with TCU or did that not pan out?

To put it on a college level: Any of you older nestors recall how few of Darrell Royal's UT players went to the NFL (considering the size of their program and its success)? smile.gif
