You know, when I signed on back in 1984, this kind of thing would not have mattered to me. But it really does now. I got a lot from North Texas, but a prominent athletic tradition was not one of those things. I am tired of not even being on the map. This omission if anything demonstrates how important it is to get this hire right.

You know what happended ? Northwestern shouldnt even be on that list , because that was last year and Fitz coached this season. Some jackass screwed it up , it was NORTH TEXAS not NORTH WESTERN. Hard to find good journalism anymore.
