Harry, Todd Dodge would make too much of a sensible hire for UNT to ever pull the trigger to make it happen. After all, we do have a 25+ year tradition of "HFC's who leave UNT to take HS jobs because of no D1-A job offers " to maintain, you know?

Seriously, I think Texas Ex Todd Dodge fits the criteria listed below in the signature space more than any other names of "possibles" I've seen yet.

I would take a Todd Dodge who has already been at UNT for 2 years as an assistant (just as Corky Nelson had had some assistant coach experience at UNT before he went to Baylor and before he came to UNT as HFC)...........

..........nevertheless, until I start seeing names like Neuheisel or similar on our list (which I will not hold my breath waiting) Todd Dodge still remains my favorite. I also think he would put together a good staff of assistants because of who he knows from his UT and UNT connections from his past.
