Just to further infuriate the Frogs, the #2 team in the MWC gets rewarded with the #5 team in the MAC (a no win situation for them)...meanwhile the #2 team from the Belt gets to play the #1 team from the MAC.

The frogs have known for a while that they would be playing in San Diego, What is really funny is that the Frogs had thought that they would be playing UCLA, Wash St or AZ, but one of them needed to get to 7 wins...as it turns out the only one that could have done it was UCLA, but they would have to beat USC to do that. The SD Bowl committee got sweaty hands and had to make a choice, so they pulled the trigger on NIU (7 wins) last week.

The could-a should-a's must be driving them nutts.
