Just pitchin' this in for discussion. Gives more for speculation rolleyes.gif

Are these indicators that the admin & BOR are really serious about upgrading and moving NT football to a higher level ?

1. Interview a candidate or candidates that are currently making more than DD was paid ? ie: Isn't Fisher currently making around $400,000 ?

2. The recent questionaire/survey.

3. The DD firing and $500,000 plus buyout.

4. Announcement if the $1.5 million for stadium study & other donations.

Seems like a lotta stuff goin on at ol' NT cool.gif

I like the apparent upward direction of things. I was concerned for several months when it seemed like the stadium campaign was on hold with no info but then the survey came out and the large donation given as seed money for it.

Then the football program appeared to be floundering when RV pulled the trigger and now looks like we may be interviewing a major candidate. Surely an upgrade in expectations from fans and donor$, attendance, facilities, and conference will be on the future agenda if this continues. I'm ready...bring it! biggrin.gif

Don't forget the hiring a nationally recognized fundraiser as the likes of Lawson & Assoicates to help raise the money for the stadium.

I say yes, these are all indicators that the university collectively wants to raise the bar. Too bad one certain ex employee couldn't see that and look towards the bright side of things here.

Absolutely. After all, if we don't believe, then what are we doing on this board?

If you don't believe UNT can build and win...well, that's the guy that just left.
