We live in Crossroads and my wife works at UNT and I in Lewisville. Just seeing if any of you in the DFW area have been out yet.

In Frisco... roads are wet... no ice spotted, but take it easy out there. Wouldn't want to lose members of our fan base due to weather.

Just drove from East Dallas to Addison. Roads were wet, but no ice. Tollway has been sanded already. Still to warm for ice, but I think it's getting worse.

Just drove from Lewisville to Addision. There was hardly any traffic on I-35 southbound, and roads were wet but not icy. Didn't go over Lewisville bridge though, so that might be a bit dicy in just a bit.

The Weather Channel is saying that conditions will worsen as the day goes on, so my advice is to work the morning, but go home early afternoon - if you go into the office at all...

Drove to Irving from Corinth. Pretty much did 55-60 the entire way, no one was on the road. Mainly wet, bridges didn't seem to be too bad at that point. Time was 7:30 ish

I encountered no problems. Just like driving in rain.

Drove from Coppell to Legacy area on the soon-to-be not free SH121. Roads are wet, but no sign of any icing.

UNT hasn't closed, so I guess it's not as bad as the local weather said it would be.

The rookie reporters have been sent to every overpass in DFW to report on the developments. Nothing has happened yet, but when it does they'll be there to report it, LIVE!

Every school in the Big Country either started at 10 or closed today except us.

Sleeted all night in Abilene, started snowing this morning, more on the way from the panhandle.

Very icy bridges coming out of downtown Fort Worth. As of 10:00 the roads are only wet up here by Eagle Mountain lake, but the sleet is coming down hard, and it's starting to change into snow.

Not that anyone cares, but it's snowing/sleeting/raining here in Bentonville, AR. Some parts up here are expected to get 6"+ on this fluffy white substance that is called "snow".

ha I know, it cracks me up. Its like listening to people in Dallas bitch about humidity!

although I must say, it was odd the way the temperature changed this morning. I left my apartment inside the loop and the temperature was 76 degrees. By the time I got to work off 290 some 15 minutes later, it had already dropped to 54.
