These are the top 5 most common names that I am seeing. Again, this poll is what you THINK, not want. If you chose other, please tell who it is. Thanks

I really do not believe Nix will get hired here.  Does anyone know or have a good idea of how much we have to offer a coach per year?

Whatever it is , its not enough mad.gif

Dodge or Carthel or Dirk Koetter

I want a football version of Bobby Cox or Joe Torre. A coach who doesn't play psychological games that eventually wear thin. Someone who earns respect, gets discipline without screaming, and treats players like men.

FINALLY !!!! Some Love ,outside of myself, for Koetter. People on here have bitched about not being a "Boise St. type of team" for awhile & here is the guy who helped turned the program into what it is today , yet nobody seems to give 2 cents about the guy. Maybe he would exceed the asking price ???

Eric Price. Successful college coach looking for a first time head coach gig. Knows the DFW area. OC at Washington State, Alabama (no games) and now UTEP.

His dad carries a pick ax onto the field before the kickoff. Perhaps Eric could carry Scrappy (?)

Has it been 30 days yet since DD was fired?  Can't remember.

Rick

I believe it was Nov 8th. I remember because I went on a partying binge when I heard the news and passed out for a few days. When I woke I seem to remember it was Nov. 11th laugh.gif

If we llook at a high school coach the name of Sam Harrell comes to mind. 3 state championships in 6 years at Ennis.

Sam is the highest paid coach in the metroplex - higher than Dodge. All of his sons have graduated and two QB's at 1A schools(Texas Tech and Tulsa). His style of play is very similar to TT. Ennis has slways had small players are the great coaching allows them to overcome bigger opponents.

Adapataion is what made Hayden Fry such a success.

That's an interesting option I hadn't thought about.
