(If nothing else maybe this will tick-off Pony fans)

I know everyone is saying we could not have won a bidding war with the Ponies if we went after the same coach. BUT, what if that coach was to choose UNT over SMU? The suicide watch would have to be issued on their campus. Was this something that might have played a roll in their decision?? ph34r.gifph34r.gif

While SMU could put more cash on the table, the future coach might just think that the potential is greater in Denton than Dallas. SMU is not pictured as the home team by most Dallasites. They do not relate to SMU. Their fan base is static and if the new coach at NT does good things he could be a real celebrity in success starved Denton.

Wow, there is over-analyzation of every single aspect of some things.

Speaking of over-analyzing – did you notice the first part – this was meant to rile up Pony fans – Are you a closet Pony?? rolleyes.gif

Do you know how rediculous these theories are sometimes?

Almost as ridiculous as people who post how ridiculous things are when they don’t agree with them blink.gif
