This is ridiculous!

Remember that discussion a few weeks ago about using communications channels and perhaps direct blogs were a more appropriate medium than haphazard message board postings? Me neither, but this is interesting from the DMN colleges blog:

Orsini's blog

SMU director of athletics Steve Orsini says in his latest blog that people are reading too much into his end-of-year meetings with football coach Phil Bennett. He emphasizes that Bennett is still SMU's coach.

It's great that Orsini can use his blog to get his message out there. But until he says that Bennett is coming back next year, I doubt it will do much to stop the speculation.
