I have been a North Texas football fan since 1955 (my freshman year here).

Believe me, I've seen it all. The great Abner Haynes (I had classes with him). The 20 year coaching career of the Legendary Odus Mitchell. And... I had the priviledge of working for Hayden Fry as Athleic Director of Promotions.

So, I believe Rick V made a great and difficult decision in firing Darrell Dickey.

I also believe Rick V will bring in a New Head Football Coach who will excite us, and bring WINNING FOOTBALL BACK TO NORTH TEXAS, BIG TIME!!!!

Remember, our opening game next fall is at OU. I will be driving to that game!!!

GO! MEAN GREEN!!!! ONWARD AND UPWARD!!!!!!!!!!
