Will MT EVER win a conference title?

You mean "earn the automatic bowl bid"? Middle Tennessee has won the co-championship twice. This season was eerily similar to the 2001 season only this time we were edged by Troy and we kicked the crap out of North Texas.

But it's a 7-5 record and with only 68 guys on scholarship. Is it any wonder why Stockstill was named ESPN.com's Sun Belt Coach of the Year?

He made a great improvement with your program in just one year. Hopefully we can look forward to the same progress in '07.

If Troy wins next week, it is Troy. If they lose, it is MTSU.

Troy took the lead over the MUTS with 14 seconds left. laugh.gif

I guess I'll be a Troy fan next week too... MUTS = tongue.gif

co-championships with no bowl bids aren't really championships at all though, are they? tongue.gif

I mean, when you lose to the champion and all... kinda settles it right there on the ol' field.

Just having fun with you, BRP -- I think you guys were clearly the best team in the Belt this year -- just frustrating as hell to yack one up like that in that spot.
