No Troy/MTSU on ESPN GamePlan

ESPN Gameplan has been good this year at putting at least one Sun Belt game on each week. Since MTSU and Troy are deciding the Sun Belt Championship this weekend, I figured it was no-brainer that would be the chosen game.

If for some reason that wasn't possible, they could have the last game coached by the most successful coach in the Sun Belt's short history by picking UNT's game.

Instead, we're getting Florida International vs. Florida Atlantic, a South Florida matchup in which the only remotely compelling storyline is whether FIU ends one of the most miserable seasons in Division I-A history with a perfect 0-11 record.

Not that I'll be watching, but I hope FIU wins. With the brawlgame and the seven-OT debacle, those players are in Book of Job territory.

      Don't get to far ahead of our self we will have to #hit6 first. I would act like this bowl is bad. if your team was better we would be in a better bowl. like I said before, I do not care which bowl, just win.

      Around the League / UNT Opponents

      as mentioned in another thread, three pretty easy wins last night (11/19) for Rice, Tulane and Charlotte. Evansville lost 80-30 to Ohio State. UNI won. not all, but the most interesting games coming up: tonight (11/20) - not a ton...Tulsa host UALR (who already blew out UTSA), but if Tulsa is any good should take care of. 11/21 - Memphis @ San Francisco ; FAU v. Oklahoma State (3 day tourney...would play Miami or Drake next) ; Oregon State host Oregon ; Houston Christian v. Rice ; ECU v. Jacksonville State (3 day tourney...would play Toledo or Stetson next) 11/22 - Utah State v. Iowa and St. Louis v. Wichita State (same venue, but not a tourney) ; McNeese v. Illinois State and UAB v. Longwood (same side of bracket) ; Temple v. Florida State ; ECU/FAU game 2 of 3 11/23 - Temple v. UMASS 11/24 - High Point v. Missouri State (3 day tourney...would play ODU or Boston College next) there will be more games 11/23 and 11/24 as some of these tournaments shake out, but definitely some interesting games starting tomorrow

      Texas Wesleyan (11/21/24)

      Texas Wesleyan is one of those athlete mill schools that take advantage of kids/parents who really want to be a college athlete. The majority of students at the school are athletes and the teams will take almost anyone to be on the roster as long as they can qualify for an overpriced college loan to afford the tuition.
