Coach Darrell Dickey, you coached here at University of North Texas for nine seasons. You have coached some good games, and all of 3 winning seasons in those nine years, plus 4 trips to the New Orleans Bowl as Sunbelt Conference Champions, winning one of those games, in 2002 over C-USA Champ Cincinnati, 24-19.

So, a final farewell, Coach Dickey. I sincerely hope you find happiness in your new coaching position. I hope better health for you.

Since UNT is paying your remaining salary, take time off to relax and rewind. You are having the Pactice fields named for you. Take pride in that.

Have a good Thanksgiving.
