I was just wondering what everyone on this board, the most die-hard UNT athletics supporters, is doing this Saturday. It would be great if we can get a similar atmosphere at the basketball games as we do at the football games even when the team is losing.

Also, if you aren't attending the basketball games but don't have other plans, please state why. How is attending a Saturday basketball game different from a Saturday football game? How much consideration do you feel is given to support for sports other than football when a conference is looking to fill a vacancy, such as CUSA?

BTW, the men's team is 3-1 with wins over highly regarded Charlotte, as well as Rice and Tulsa. The loss came from a botched call from the officials on a last second shot against UTA.

Thanks, and Go Mean Green!

I'll be sitting on the couch watching/listening to the Basketball game. I wish I could be there, but it is a 14 hour drive round trip and my parents are coming to visit this weekend anyways.

I've already planted the the "Kitchen Pass" seed.  I am hopeful that it grows to a  flowering blossom of Mean Green rage and support so that I can watch Mr. Sturns go "Flanagan" on the opposing team.

Rick

I believe that even after he's gone we may have a new entry for the Mean Green Dictionary: "Going Flanigan"

No, the basketball game is not on TV.  All the more reason to go to the pit, right?

Well, that's true, but I will have family here, so will more than likely stay home. Also, even though it is a way long shot, I will be rooting for a USC loss for my Hogs.

Will any of the Talons be in town to make the basketball game...or will they be on the road for the football game?

Again, to the people who are just going to sit at home and not go to the basketball games... If you aren't attending the basketball games but don't have other plans, please state why.
