At least as a coach of the our beloved MEAN GREEN!!! I was beginning to believe I would never see this day.

I will remember Dickey only as a complainer, excuse maker and slacker. One who slapped his employer and the fans on a regular basis. Dickey fooled a lot of people. Not me.

Oh man, no more Flannigan! Yes, a great day for our school. Say goodbye Darrell. Say goodbye Flanny. How this charade was able to last this long is a puzzle that may never be solved.

Dickey was bad for UNT and I will not apologize for making that statement!

The dark days are gone. biggrin.gif

I am way way out of line. Stebo, do you have any of that crow left over?

Although I think it was time for change and happy that we are doing just that, Darrell was not bad for UNT and I sincerely apologize for being insensitive to someone who did their best for UNT. Eagle Man should practice what he preaches and think before he speaks.

I wish the best for Darrell.

      Don't get to far ahead of our self we will have to #hit6 first. I would act like this bowl is bad. if your team was better we would be in a better bowl. like I said before, I do not care which bowl, just win.

      Around the League / UNT Opponents

      as mentioned in another thread, three pretty easy wins last night (11/19) for Rice, Tulane and Charlotte. Evansville lost 80-30 to Ohio State. UNI won. not all, but the most interesting games coming up: tonight (11/20) - not a ton...Tulsa host UALR (who already blew out UTSA), but if Tulsa is any good should take care of. 11/21 - Memphis @ San Francisco ; FAU v. Oklahoma State (3 day tourney...would play Miami or Drake next) ; Oregon State host Oregon ; Houston Christian v. Rice ; ECU v. Jacksonville State (3 day tourney...would play Toledo or Stetson next) 11/22 - Utah State v. Iowa and St. Louis v. Wichita State (same venue, but not a tourney) ; McNeese v. Illinois State and UAB v. Longwood (same side of bracket) ; Temple v. Florida State ; ECU/FAU game 2 of 3 11/23 - Temple v. UMASS 11/24 - High Point v. Missouri State (3 day tourney...would play ODU or Boston College next) there will be more games 11/23 and 11/24 as some of these tournaments shake out, but definitely some interesting games starting tomorrow

      Texas Wesleyan (11/21/24)

      Texas Wesleyan is one of those athlete mill schools that take advantage of kids/parents who really want to be a college athlete. The majority of students at the school are athletes and the teams will take almost anyone to be on the roster as long as they can qualify for an overpriced college loan to afford the tuition.
