I thought Coach Dickey did a great job. If there was one thing that really irked me the last few years was the number of perosnal fouls we received at Fouts. I believe that is a lack of coaching. I had heard even after the Cincy win in new Orleans that RV and DD were not the best of buds.

I only have to believe this firing relates to a specific incident related to whiskey or something. How many programs let their coach go with 3 games left, much less UNT?

You obviously haven't watched any UNT games the past two years. As an example of what's been going on, the scout team beat the first team in the final fall scrimmage this year before the season started.

Just this year Michigan State and North Carolina.

His first 3 years were as abyssmal as this season and last. It wasn't until halfway through the '01 season and his head was on the chopping block that he did anything. He got one chance, did something with it (for the most part), and then dropped the ball.
