Well. It was national press, but he got it wrong. Its not the new athletic center its a practice field but hey I'll take the national press it gets our name out there AND he used the new logo and script. It actually looked quite nice on TV.

roommate just called me in to watch it... we agreed it made MM look like a child and cast the University in a bad light too (not Rome's take, just the whole situation)

I'll be glad when we hire a stellar coach and can get national press on that basis instead.

I think the real story is that 2 people listened to Rome today. I live in Southern California, and I make it a point to avoid him.

I did see the story in the USA Today this morning.

My guess is that the novelty of the story -- football booster threatens to take his money elsewhere -- made it a popular item in a slow sports week. Who around Dickey has the juice to get this thing covered nationally?
